Garment-Aware Underlay
Different stabilization for knit polos vs. woven jackets vs. fleece.
Embroidery Digitizing › Left Chest
The left chest is the most common — and most scrutinized — logo placement in corporate and team apparel. At 3.5"–4" wide, there's little room for error in stitch density or lettering clarity. We digitize each left-chest logo at its exact production size so small text stays legible and fine details don't fill in with thread.
Small-format digitizing has to solve for a fabric surface that moves — knit polos and soft-shell jackets flex differently than a flat panel. We adjust underlay and pull compensation specifically for the garment type you tell us you're stitching onto, so the logo doesn't distort once it's on the body instead of flat on a hoop.

Column and satin-stitch adjustments to keep lettering under 0.25" legible.
We'll flag designs where too many thread colors will muddy a small placement, before you pay for production.
Most left-chest placements run between 3.5" and 4" wide. We digitize at your exact target size — scaling a file up or down after the fact distorts stitch density and often causes puckering.
There is no hard limit, but logos with more than 6-8 colors on a small chest placement can lose clarity. We will flag this during the proof stage and suggest simplifications if needed.
Yes — every left chest digitizing order includes a digital proof, and a physical stitched sample is available on request before a full production run.
